Sam Lee is a Korean-Canadian documentary photographer based in Montreal. His work explores the interactions between individuals and the spaces they inhabit, particularly in urban or constructed environments. He employs the documentary aesthetic popularized by prominent colour photographers of the late 20th century. Utilizing traditional photographic processes, Lee makes optical c-type prints in his colour darkroom. He has been developing his practice since 2015.
